Meet the Maker

Hi, I'm Keisha, a wife, a mom of two, and the owner of The Bowed Doe. 

I have always had a love for art growing up but I was taught, like a lot of us were taught, that it's an unreliable career so I focused my studies elsewhere. Fast forward to the day I found out I was having my daughter, I had the sudden urge to make hair accessories. I was reluctant at first to open a business in fear of failure but then I thought, what is the worst that could happen? Nothing. In fact, something amazing happened, The Bowed Doe. I finally have something that inspires me, challenges me and allows me to do what I love while at home with my kids.

I never imagined The Bowed Doe would grow so quickly. I am so thankful for all your support. I can't wait to see where this journey takes me.

Meet our Virtual Assistant 

I’m Kat, mom of 3 amazing kids plus a bonus child. I discovered The Bowed Doe after a friend of mine had a baby girl, and recall being so envious of these beautiful bows she was buying. Once I was surprised by the pregnancy of my littlest, Kyleigh, my bow collection/addiction began. Working for Keisha as a virtual assistant was the perfect fit for my family, as I was already strongly supportive of her business. Staying home with my children has always been important to me, and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to do it all again!

Meet our Seamstress

I’m Jodi, a wife to my high school sweetheart and a mom to three named Rayah, Ryker and Raine! I discovered The Bowed Doe a few month after my daughter Rayah was born and it all started there! I am now the maker of everything fabric sold here at The Bowed Doe.
